Celtic Cup Wrexham 11-12 May 2013

Scotland Over 60s and Over 65s travel to North Wales to defend both Celtic Cups.

The Celtic Cup competition for Over 60s was inaugurated in Aberdeen in 2007, when Scotland beat Wales in the first ever Over 60s international played by Wales to win the cup for the first time.

Wales won the Celtic Cup in Wrexham in 2008 but Scotland regained the cup at Inverclyde in 2009. After a break of a year, the competition resumed in Llandudno in 2011, when Wales Over 65s played their first ever international. Scotland retained the Over 60s Celtic Cup thanks to a scoreless draw, and won the inaugural Over 65s Celtic Cup with a 2-0 victory. In 2012, the competition returned to Inverclyde and Scotland retained both trophies with wins against their Welsh counterparts.
